What it is:
A bold, versatile tea blend crafted with black tea, yerba maté, white tea, rooibos, and gunpowder green tea—formulated to create fast-fermenting, full-bodied kombucha or a smooth everyday drinking tea. Packed with antioxidants and naturally high in caffeine, it delivers the energy of coffee with the clean lift of tea.
Why you'll love it:
This blend was created for deep flavor, quick fermentation, and consistent results—perfect for home brewers and commercial kombucha makers. As a daily tea, it brews into a rich, balanced cup that’s excellent sweetened or unsweetened. With its layered profile and strong caffeine content, it’s a powerhouse base for any beverage.
But 1957 is more than a blend—it’s a tribute.
Named in honor of Zac’s father, whose birth year appears on the Yum Cha logo, this tea reflects the values he passed on: simplicity, quality, curiosity, and heart. He inspired Zac’s love for craft, beekeeping, and thoughtful living. This blend is crafted the same way—simple, honest, and made with the very best ingredients.
