Raspberry Green Tea Spritzer

Raspberry Green Tea Spritzer Recipe

  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 teaspoons green tea leaves or 1 green tea bag
  • 1 cup hot, not boiling, water (approximately 175 degrees)
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • Sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Steep the Green Tea: Place green tea leaves in a heatproof container. Pour boiling water over the tea. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea leaves or bags. Let the tea cool to room temperature, or place it in the refrigerator to chill faster.

Prepare the Raspberry Puree: In a blender, puree 1 cup of fresh raspberries until smooth. If a more clear spritzer is desired, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

Mix the Tea and Raspberry Puree: Combine the cooled green tea and raspberry puree in a pitcher. Add the lemonade and stir well to ensure the mixture is fully blended.

Assemble the Spritzer: Fill glasses halfway with ice cubes. Pour the green tea and raspberry mixture over the ice until the glass is about three-quarters full.

Top with Sparkling Water: Gently top off each glass with chilled sparkling water to add a bubbly spritz. Stir lightly to integrate all the flavors.

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh raspberry, a lemon slice, or a mint leaf for added visual appeal and flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy the effervescence and fruity freshness of the Raspberry Green Tea Spritzer.
